This Privacy and Cookies Disclosure (“Disclosure”) applies to your interaction with Allowance Manager, LLC (“Allowance Manager”, “AM”, “we”, “us”, “our”), at any online or mobile site or application that we own and control (“Site”), unless a different disclosure is posted at a particular site, or is made available to you and by its terms supplants this Disclosure. Other privacy policies may also apply in addition to the terms of this Disclosure. You may also receive an additional privacy notice in connection with your use of a particular product of AM. This Disclosure also explains certain data use and data protection functionalities and practices of our online ads, such as banner ads, on third party sites. Please note that where we have another type of presence on a site owned by a third party, such as a page or handle on a social media site, that third party’s privacy policy and terms of use, rather than this Disclosure, will govern, unless specifically stated otherwise.

This privacy statement describes how Allowance Manager collects and uses the personal information you provide on our website, It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information.

Agreement to Disclosure

By using Allowance Manager’s website or application (“Site”) or interacting with an Allowance Manager advertisement or page or account on a third-party site, you consent to this Disclosure, including your consent to our use and disclosure of information about you in the manner described in this Disclosure.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

Allowance Manager’s business model presumes our services will be used by families to teach financial literacy to their children. AM operates with the expectation our subscribers are parents of children between ages 3-17. We collect the following personal information from subscribers to the Allowance Manager Junior and Premium subscriptions depending on the services being requested: gender, first name, last name, date of birth, and a parent’s email address. This information will be used to administer your Allowance Manager Account, contact the AM Admin or Account Owner when necessary, and identify you for use on the Site.

To participate in the Allowance Manager’s Premium Subscription Prepaid Card Program, the AM Admin will be required to provide additional personal identification before activation of requested AllowanceCard(s). This information will include the AM Admin’s social security number, date of birth, and residential address. No credit check is required. We do not collect further information on the Allowance Recipient. Information obtained for these purposes will only be used as explained in the AllowanceCard and AllowanceWallet agreements.

During the Junior or Premium Subscription registration process, AM Admins have the option to provide Allowance Recipient’s email addresses. If an email address is provided, Allowance Manager will send the Allowance Recipient a service-related “Weekly Statement of Account”. An AM Admin can stop this communication by removing the email address in the Settings section of the AM Admin Account.

As is true of most Web sites, we automatically gather information about your computer such as your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and operating system. We use this information to administer your account and understand how the site is being used so that we can continually fine-tune it to provide the best possible user experience.

Our Web site includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy disclosure of the company providing it.

We display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our site in addition to other endorsements. With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at

Information Sharing

We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

We may share information with service providers with whom we work, such as data processors and companies that help us market products and services to you. When permitted or required by law, we may share information with additional third parties for purposes including response to legal process.

If we are involved in a merger/acquisition of all or a portion of our assets, we may transfer to the merging/acquiring entity personal information that is related to that part of the business that was merged/acquired without obtaining any further consent. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

In order to improve and provide a more convenient, relevant user experience, we and our analytics or service providers such as our customer support provider may use “cookies,” “web beacons,” and similar devices to track activity on the site technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis. We use cookies for our shopping cart and to remember users’ settings for authentication. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level.

As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

We may use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.

Accepting Cookies

You may be able to set your browser to reject browser cookies. However, if you choose to reject cookies, you cannot access your accounts online with us. The security of your family’s personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

Correcting and Updating Your Personal Information

To review, delete, or update your personal information to ensure it is accurate, you can log into your account and update your any Allowance Recipient’s information under “Settings”. Data Retention

We will retain your information for as long as your Subscription is active or as required to provide certain services to you. Children’s Privacy

Allowance Manager does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13 without obtaining verifiable consent from their parents.  We request that such individuals do not provide personal information through the services. We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to how we use Personal Information collected from children under age 13, we will notify account owners by email in order to obtain verifiable parental consent for the new uses of a child’s Personal Information.

We may update this privacy statement to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you by means of an electronic notice and on prior to affecting the change. We encourage you to periodically review your email and for the latest information on our privacy practices.
